Basket we're just about finished with Basket of the second bathroom remodel in my jungalow and i'm finally thinking about Basket of the finishing touches! there are a number of budget friendly (and simple!) updates you can do to make an older bathroom feel fresh, new and clean again! follow along for a few of my favorite jungalicious and stylish ideas.
ditch Basket of the towel bar
most apartments or standard bathrooms have a traditional towel bar. add flair and swap it out for a pretty hook. need more than one? line Basket of the hooks next to each other. if it's a kid's shared bathroom, assign them a hook so they can keep up with their towel.
fresh towels
it's amazing what a fresh set of towels (and sheets!) can do. mimic a hotel bathroom and go for bright, white and fluffy! for updated storage, roll them and store them in a basket. to keep them smelling so fresh and clean try an aromatherapy detergent by zum clean!
update Basket of the bathroom rug
if all of your rugs around Basket of the toilet, sink and shower area match, it's time for a change! for small bathrooms use one pattern-filled rug and keep Basket of the post shower rug draped across Basket of the tub or put away. for a long and narrow bathroom, try a stylish runner. note: get rid of Basket of the rug around Basket of the toilet (it's a germ hoarder!).
install a stylish mirror
there's no rule that says you have to have a giant long ceiling to sink mirror. if you can, get rid of it and replace it with a smaller more stylish mirror. if your vanity has two sinks, split Basket of the mirror and hang two! if you're in a rental and cannot swap out Basket of the mirror, frame Basket of the existing one with wood.
paint Basket of the cabinets

Basket of the area around Basket of the tub, shower and sink can get a little icky and gross. this is a $20 or less job! peel up Basket of the existing caulk with a box cutter and lay down new caulk! you will be shocked at how fresh and clean this will make Basket of the bathroom look.
